Event description
We leave by bus on Saturday noon and head to the shelters, where we will set up camp and enjoy a special campfire dinner prepared by a professional cook. The evening will be all about long summer vibes, music, drinks, games, and good company before sleeping overnight in the three shelters.
On Sunday, we start the day with a shared breakfast, and we return by bus all together, just as we came.
Purpose of the Trip
The goal of this trip is to give young people from Kalundborg the chance to discover the wider local area, connect with its nature, culture, and people, and try new experiences together.
Campfire Dinner Experience by Mia Reesen
Forget ordinary dinners. This is a shared outdoor experience where local food, storytelling, creativity, and community come together around the fire. As the sun sets over Røsnæs, we gather for a unique dining experience that lets us taste, learn, and experience the local area in a completely new way.
Program Highlights
Saturday, 4 July
- 12:00 – Meet at Kalundborg st. (Meet up location)
- 12:25 – Take Bus 553 to Røsnæs
- 12:55 – Arrive and settle into the campsite
- 18:00 – Campfire Dinner experience by Mia Reesen
- 21:00 – Campfire evening with music, drinks, and games
Sunday, 5 July
- 08:30 – Breakfast
- 09:30 – Pack up and head back
- 11:07 – Catch Bus 553 back to civilization
- 11:40 – Arrive at Kalundborg St.
What to Bring:
- Sleeping bag (Unless you prefer shivering)
- Towel & Toiletries
- Comfortable clothes (Pack 1–2 extra pairs of socks. Seriously, wet socks are the enemy.)
- Warm layers for the evening (A waterproof jacket is highly recommended)
- Hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers
- Swimwear (Optional, but highly encouraged for maximum fun!)
- Reusable water bottle (At least 2L—stay hydrated!)
- Powerbank
- Good vibes (Mandatory)
