DnD Workshop
This registration is for the full three-part Dungeons & Dragons workshop series. By signing up, you are registering for all three workshop dates: 27 October, 3 November and 17 November 2026.
Curious about Dungeons & Dragons, but not sure where to start? Or have you played before and want to try being a Dungeon Master?
Join us for a three-part Dungeons & Dragons workshop series at LUMA, where we will go from the basics of the game all the way to playing a full adventure.
The workshops are designed for both complete beginners and people who already know a little about D&D. You do not need to know the rules beforehand.
Workshop 1 – Introduction to Dungeons & Dragons
We start from the beginning: What is Dungeons & Dragons, where did it come from, and how did it become the game it is today? We will look at what a TTRPG (Tabletop Role Playing Game) actually is, how the game works, and what you need to get started – both inside the game and around the table.
Workshop 2 – Players and Dungeon Masters
For the second workshop, we split into two groups.
Players will learn more about the world and lore of D&D, including gods, planes, the Material Plane, major events and cities. After dinner, we will finish with a character workshop where you can create and develop your own character.
Those who would like to try being a Dungeon Master will first play a short one-shot together with one of the experienced Game Masters. Afterwards, you will get the chance to try running the game yourself in smaller groups of approximately 4–6 people. After dinner, the GM group will also join the introduction to the world and lore.
There will be a limited number of places in the Dungeon Master group.
Workshop 3 – Time to play!
For the final workshop, the focus is on actually playing Dungeons & Dragons. The goal is to have enough Dungeon Masters – both from the instructors and participants from Workshop 2 – for everyone to join a group and play an adventure together.
No previous D&D experience is required. The most important thing is that you are curious and want to try it.
Food during the workshops
During the evening, we will organise a joint food order. Taking part in the food order is optional, and everyone pays for their own meal. We will take care of placing the order and picking up the food, so you can stay at LUMA and focus on the workshop.
The workshops will be held in English.
